Awesome Work and Customer Service

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
When I first went with Octa Log I was concerned as I saw all these negative reviews and I was so nervous that I went with Octa Logo. Jerry M assured me to overlook that and promise me they will present excellent work and he guaranteed it. Well I go way more then I expected and can't tell you from my point of view how great they were in customer service, turnaround time, listened to what I wanted, and produced an awesome logo for my company. So so so happy with my logo and will be using Octa Logo again for my future products. Thank you Octa Logo :) Joani D

Good design work but heavy handing sales tactics

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
Octa logo does really good logo design and have a good eye for images and web design. However, their "upselling department" is a totally different story. Every time you receive a phone call from them, it's always a "senior account executive". These calls will continue to arrive all through the weeks of working with Octalogo. Each of these calls are high pressure sales calls that pushes you to buy whatever other log in they can think about. This happens even after I specifically told them no more sales calls. I even told them if they would call me and try to sell me more stuff, I would go on pissedcustome.com and write a negative review. It just blows my mind that they still didn't stop... Wow!

I would suggest using another company. They created my site, and I felt like I had to do all the work. Trying to get them to do stuff was ridiculous. They try to get you to spend more money while they are working on your site. The left an N tagged somewhere in my page so when I post anywhere this appears. The logos require a lot of work from the customer because they don't know what they are doing. I never received my banners for social media and pretty sure I won't. I think they have outsourced outside of the US. The people that are doing the work that will be calling will not be the same people that you initially work with to buy your package. These people are terrible. My package came with email which only works about 25% of the time and it takes 5 minutes to load. Trust me go somewhere else.

If you are still working with them make sure you ask for your domain right of ownership. They called me 1 year later trying to sell our own domain for $550 ...

ridiculous.

Our domain was included in our package, but they did not mention that they own the domain. The whole company is a scam....

Customer Satisfaction Low Priority

Trying to get more money is their #1 priority. Satisfying the customer with a product they want is a low priority, and the fact that they are so obvious about this makes my head spin! Their salesmen are deceitful. For example, I was told later that my finalized logo couldn't be released until I paid another $100 for them to copyright it! I said that never was discussed originally when I paid for the logo design. He told me it's in their website. In other words, THE FINE PRINT. This was a big lie, anyway, because they later sent the finalized version even though I had not paid any more money. There were times I actually felt bullied on the phone by their salesmen!

this is my review of octa logo. they also do business as logo scientist Hired octalogo/logo scientist to design a website for my business communication was poor, only through emails. you will never be able to call them to discuss your project. every correspondence would take 2-4 days. after months of back and forth, the results were always poor at best. minimum effort given my instructions, and it would take days of emailing just to get a single issue resolved. each time, i was only given a terrible excuse as to why instructions were not followed. escalations are handed off to other managers, with false promises, and high sales pressure tactics to deter you from cancelling your contract. when i finally gave up, i asked for a full refund as was promised in writing - 100% satisfaction guaranteed. they would only give me 20%, bc according to them, i had already approved of the initial design. beware, they only show you a mock up of the home page. once you 'approve' so that they can begin working on the interior pages, you're committed and won't get your money back even though initial design should include design of the entire site. save yourself the hassle and pay a little bit more for real professionals. or, just burn your money. either way is still better than giving money to these crooks.

I have been trying for the last 2 years to make these idiots do what they were paid to do. All blow and no show. Will not return any messages via phone or email. I have a friend in Sarasota looking into the company for me. I plan to take them to small claims court. Any place I can complain about this company I will. DO NOT DO business with this company. They were supposed to connect with my pay pal and face book store. I am out over $500.00. What a shame people have to be like this. I can't wait to hear back from my friends in Sarasota as to what type of office they actually have.

Seems like a scam

Octa Logo - Seems like a scam

I asked to have a veterinarian illustration. They created 2 concepts.

One was clearly taken from Shutterstock. I have attached the other one that is so bad it's hard to describe. A picture is worth a thousand words! Wow.

It seems like a front for taking your money. They first try to upsell you. I have asked to get my money back. We will see.

Turn-around was supposed to be 48 hours. On day 4 I asked how long I could expect to see something and within hours they produced the concept which I have attached below.

Thank goodness for online reviews to protect people from scams like this! Buyer definitely beware.

DO NOT WORK WITH OCTOLOGO horrible company. Took our money and ran. I called multiple times and they pretend they listen to Your concerns then won't do your request at all. You call back and I was on hold for 1.5 hrs one day and am hour the next. They promised the domain name and my money back one day and then said no the next. I have never worked with such a lying company and slow company in my life. Specific people on the team: Emily, Jason.

Incompetent, obvious my project was never going to get finished.

After 12 weeks I still haven't received my completed website. I have attached the final few emails I sent them before I stopped responding to their excuses. Every week they had some excuse why the website wasn't finished, that is all them seemed to be good at was excuses. I recommend going anywhere else or just doing it yourself. I ended up using Shopify, they have great templates and they do the credit card processing themselves. I literally built my entire website in less than 6 hours. I suggest not wasting your money or time if you are even a little computer savvy. I'm happy to give you anymore details you'd like, feel free to reach out. I'd love to help anyone avoid what I went through. Email #1 Sep 20, 2016 Hi N*****, As of right now I have not received an update as to when my website will be completed since your email earlier today stating you would look into my website's status. This is my official notice that you and your company have 48 (forty eight) hours to complete my website, in its entirety. I officially commissioned this work to be started on June 28th, 2016. As of today it has been exactly 12 weeks. I have been very patient and I feel 12 weeks is more than enough time to compete a standard website which I was told your company does all the time and many times in the past. As of 1400 (PST) today, my watches are in hand and I am losing sales as every hour goes by that my site is not operational. I currently have 51 orders that are waiting to be placed (verifiable via emails and social media messages), that is $7650 in revenue I can't access. If my site is not 100% finished, meaning fully functional and published by 1855 on Thursday September 22nd I will require a full refund as well as any damages due to lost revenue. I have already contacted American Express and they have assured me that they can pull the entire amount back via a charge back if you refuse to refund my money assuming the website is not completed. The following is required to be completed by September 22nd at 1855 PST but not limited to: - Fully operational and functional website to conduct business which includes but not limited the sale of watches, watch related items and promotional items. This includes a fully functioning shopping cart (orders need to be able to processed from start to finish including credit card or PayPal payments which also need to be receivable. -My entire website and it's functionality to be unlocked so I can have full access to every aspect for modification. -"USA" needs to be the default shipping country and also default when creating a profile in the pull down menu. -Add a forgot user name and or password function. -Ability to manage the user names and passwords that are added. -Ability to manage the people that sign up for the newsletter/ updates. Also a unsubscribe function. -Ability to add the promotional codes. -Ability to manage the promotional codes. I'd like to have multiple promo codes working at any given time so I can track my marketing efforts. Let me know if you have any questions. I look forward to my website being completed in a timely manner. Thank you Email #2 Sept 23, 2016 Hi N*****, This email is sent to you directly because I am not aware of any fact indicating that you are represented by legal counsel. If you have professional malpractice insurance I suggest that you forward this email to your carrier. I appreciate what you said and could understand an illness delaying my website if this was 6 weeks ago. It is not a matter of a couple of days, it is a matter of a handful of weeks. I told you two weeks ago on September 6th 2016 at 0914 that my watches were shipping and my site needed to be complete in a timely fashion, which I stated was by the end of that week. I told you on September 12th 2016 at 0957 my watches would be delivered anytime because they were in customs awaiting clearance. Why wasn't my website done last week? Why wasn't my website done two weeks ago? You had my Square credit card processing information on August 29th 2016 and again on September 12th 2016. At no point during this entire process have you reached out and asked me to get you anything. I was always the one asking you what you needed. If you did need something after me asking, I made sure you had it within a 6 hour window, if not immediately. To add insult to injury you are now asking me for the Square information for a third time which is out right incompetence. I sent you the Square information on August 29th 2016 and also again on September 12th 2016 when you asked for it a second time. How much time do you need to complete a simple website? It has been 12 plus weeks which seems excessive. Especially when you take into account that I, yesterday in a matter of 5 hours completed an entire website from start to finish including a working shopping cart able to accept credit cards and PayPal. I have zero website building experience and I was able to accomplish in a matter of hours what your company couldn't complete in 12 weeks. It doesn't that seem fair or appropriate for me to to continue to put my faith in your company week after week to not get what I paid for in a timely fashion. It became apparent that I might never get a completed website. Please refund my money immediately for not completing what I paid you to do in a timely fashion. I have two other proposals from website developers that stated my website would be completed in a three week time frame or it would be free which proves that 12 weeks is more than enough time for you to complete a website. You and your company have till the close of business today, September 23rd, 2016 to comply with my refund or I will be instructing my corporate council that I kept on retainer for my other business to move forward with litigation proceedings. Thank you, Email # 3 Sept 23rd, 2016 Dear N*****, Be aware, you have six and a quarter hours (6 1/4) to refund my money. This is not a discussion nor will there be any further discussions or communications after this email. I have been very clear. You had your chance to finish this web site weeks ago. Today is FIRST I have heard in regards to you requesting the login in credentials for Square. It is obvious you and or your company do not know what your're doing. Your email dated August 29th 2016 at 1353 (copied below) states all you would need is the login credentials for PayPal which I sent you immediately along with the API details which I also sent you immediately. If you knew you would need the login credentials for Square why didn't you ask for it then? It appears these are tactics to prolong the completion of this project or it's just gross incompetence. Either way, if you think you completed this simple website in a timely fashion you are grossly mistaken. This is your last opportunity to refund my money and avoid litigation due to my lost revenue along avoiding me posting my honest and very scathing review in regards to your company and it's ability to finish projects or lack there of, on every review website I can find. Furthermore, any further communication other than the refunding of my money will be viewed as harassment and treated as such. This is my final demand for a refund. Sincerely,

Charged 680$ but not delivered

I brought 6 logo packages, they just gave simple names or meaning less symbols even after providing with valid inputs. They never responded to the emails. These guys change the company names very frequently. http://www.octalogo.com/ are the same as www.logoscientist.com.They promises discounts in first place and take the money but never deliver the work to costumers. I am trying last one year, I am trying to get hold of people but not sure how to handle this situation. They point different team members but final outcome is ZERO. Simply waste of time and energy. Persons will shift one after another, I am trying to get hold of them last an year.

Amateurs.... if THAT good.

They not only didn't provide what I asked for, they didn't even listen to my input. I don't know if it was sheer incompetence or just hardheadedness, but i finally had to design my own. I got the impression that this was just a guy or two sitting around with some imaging software screwing around with logo ideas and trying to make them work rather than a professional organization. They're a joke, and a bad one at that. If you want something amateurish, these are your guys... but your customers will see it. I couldn't afford to use their work - it was almost cartoonish it was so bad. Just pitiful.

Very bad experience

Had a very bad experience with this company - just paid for a logo and was told someone would ring me back today - still waiting. Not acceptable. Shall be looking at taking this matter further. When visiting the site a box at the side offered a service straight away - I thought this was excellent at first was told that I can have discounts on a logo design, was really happy about that. Was even thinking about having a website designed by them too but that definitely wont happen now. I was told that some one would call me today to chat through everything and no-one has called. Obviously this is a scam and I have lost money. Not happy.

they outsource everything to pakistan but they are pretending that they are "anglos" with anglo names - its just complete misrepresentation as to who they are - they operate from virtual offices as well. They don't and cannot follow instructions - they copy logos and whatever logo they produce is pretty shocking and they don't follow instructions. DO NOT USE.

Complete Scam!!!

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
Octa Logo is a COMPLETE SCAM, please do NOT use them for anything. As mentioned in a previous review, they are completely outsourced and lie with fake names. They are completely unethical and do no deliver on their services. They charged me for two logos that I designed myself, yes, I designed. All they did was transfer it to 5 or 6 formats (tiff, jpeg, eps, etc, etc.) for $150!! Could you believe that?? What a joke! Plus I asked the guy, named Steve Anderson (his real name is probably Raj Kumar) to match the yellow on both logos, such a simple task. and he refused!! He told me it would cost me more. I called them repeatedly to get the work done, which took nearly a month and their response, "Our system is down, so we are all working from home." Um....so shouldn't you still be working?? Or does working from home mean "not working." I guess in India it does. Or can you advise your customers who are running a business that they work VERY hard for about the delays in service? They have no respect for hard working entrepreneurs or ethics for that matter. On top of that they guaranteed a banner and stationary set that was part of the package. They chose a meadow scene without asking me what I wanted and was relevant to the business. Really? I didn't know a meadow scene had anything to do with South Indian Cuisine?? Also he made a stationary set that was only a photo of the set. It's hard to imagine that B2B like these actually exist. It's such a joke, but I wasn't left laughing. They have wasted my time and money and if there is anything that I can advise to other businesses is to avoid OctaLogo like the plague. They are liars and they do no care about your business. They are just looking to make a quick buck and please do not buy into their scam. I completely regret using their services. Lesson learned.

Total scam...

We bought a "full" package from them logos; stationary items, website etc. Never got stationary designs, website took 4 months and looks like it was designed by an 8th grader, all requested changes never been completed.

They called me 1 year later asking me to renew hosting with them, after I told them that hosting is done through a provider of our choice and paid for for next 5 years.

We found out that they had right of ownership for our domain, that was part of our package. Apparently they just registered the domain for us and now kindly offered to sell our own domain for $550 or renew for $300 ... ridiculous.

Our domain was included in our package, but they did not mention that they own the domain. The whole company is a scam....

A SCAM - FRAUD COMPANY! They Hurt My Business!!!!!

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

The company is a scam. The address is fake (it s an vacant lot) they took my money and never delivered.

Hardly was able to get a hold of anyone when things were wrong and the website was only live for barely a month before it got hacked. They create fake accounts to make the reviews look great but its an outsource company that do less than mediocre work. I wish I saw this sooner I would not wasted hundreds of my money to these guys. Hurt my business, lost money.

Still not over this.

Had to start from scratch after what they did. The customer service was a JOKE
